CROSSOVER AUSTRALIA 2009

Date: 15 February 2009 to 19 February 2009
Venue: MCLARENS ON THE LAKE, MCLAREN VALE, SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Crossover Australia is a creative incubator devoted to building new forms of interactivity. Bringing together Australians from a variety of disciplines who are interested in applying their practice across platforms and who want to explore interactivity across screen based media. Our aim is to develop innovative interactive digital projects.

Over the course of five days, participants are immersed in a series of activities where the primary goal is the development of conceptual prototypes for groundbreaking interactive projects.

Adelaide Film Festival was lead presenting partner in delivering the lab.

Crossover Australia also acknowledges the financial assistance of Screen Australia and support from the Australian International Documentary Conference.

Commissioning the Future

Commissioning The Future is the new European training initiative for commissioning editors and funders, developed by Crossover (UK) in partnership with Documentary Campus (Germany) and Sheffield Doc/Fest (UK).

We strongly believe that it is vital to train the decision-makers in order for the convergent marketplace to really thrive. Therefore we have developed this new European training course offering three five-day long creative and commercial innovation labs, focused on commissioning for the emerging convergent digital media ecology.
