A prize $5,000 offered by the Bell Fund to the best final pitch was awarded by a jury comprised of Patrick Crowe from Xenophile Media, Veronica Holmes from Bell and representing the Bell Fund, Cathy James from CBC and Slawko Klymkiw from the CFC to a project called 'The Catalyst' by Jill Golick and Tessa Sproule.

Commissioning the Future

Commissioning The Future is the new European training initiative for commissioning editors and funders, developed by Crossover (UK) in partnership with Documentary Campus (Germany) and Sheffield Doc/Fest (UK).

We strongly believe that it is vital to train the decision-makers in order for the convergent marketplace to really thrive. Therefore we have developed this new European training course offering three five-day long creative and commercial innovation labs, focused on commissioning for the emerging convergent digital media ecology.
