Crossover's third lab in Canada in 2009 was second collaboration with the Canadian Film Centre on a "Multiplatform Matchmaking Program" held at Niagara on the Lake on the shores of Lake Ontario.
A dozen creative professionals from Ontario's film, television and digital production communities worked with mentors including Ana Serrano of the Canadian Film Centre, Jill Golick and Richard Adams to share professional experience and to build a common understanding of the emerging digital media ecology.
Five projects were pitched at the end of the lab to a jury which awarded a prize of development resources and support from the CFC to 'Herd', a location-based music discovery app for iPhone and other platforms.
