Peter Dale is the founder of Rare Day, a media production company. Until August 2008 he was the Head of More4, Channel 4's digital channel which launched in October 2005.

He started television life in the cutting room, both outside and later inside the BBC. After directing his first documentary for the Everyman series in 1980, he went on to make documentaries for the next 18 years. As Head of Documentaries at Channel 4 his commissions included Tina Goes Shopping, Wife Swap, The Government Inspector and Jamie's School Dinners.

-Inspire participants to generate ideas for subjects and topics to cover

-Give practical tips and advice on making, digitising and posting their films
