Preloaded's output covers branded entertainment and interactive experiences, casual and serious gaming, communities and social media as well as traditional site design and build. With a focus on user-experience coupled with creative and technical excellence, Preloaded work with a wide range of consumer-facing brands including Channel 4, BBC, MTV, Arts Council, The Tate and the Science Museum.

Phil is particularly interested in the value of interaction in the fields of education having worked on numerous award-winning projects, including the BBC's Death in Sakkara, CDX and the Science Museum's Launchball game, winner of SXSW 2008 'Best of Show'. Most recently he led the development of Channel 4 Education's new multi-player game - 1066.

Day-to-day he is found doing a mixture of Creative Direction and Strategic planning.

The purpose of these mini-labs is 

-Provide potential competitors with information about the competition, its scope and how to enter

-Stimulate debate about the impact of digital technology on society, politics, the economy, education, culture

-Inspire participants to generate ideas for subjects and topics to cover

-Give practical tips and advice on making, digitising and posting their films
