Over the last 15 years Heather has worked in the creative sector as Lecturer of Fine Art and Film studies and over the last decade as a Directer/Producer and Series Producer across a variety of genres of programming for British broadcasters. Heather is established in producing funny, thought provoking, insightful and accessible character led documentaries, about social and cultural issues and received RTS nominations for films she directed for Channel 4.

Heather created a cross platform documentary series for MTV International in 2008
And is currently developing a number of ambitious interactive documentary film projects and partnering with consultants from various disciplines.
